Client: Apollo Group – Metropolitan Housing Trust
Overview: The installation works included new kitchens, electrics rewires and the replacement of the central heating systems.
Where possible Parker Bromley’s remit was to retain and reuse existing piping by power flushing the system once the new condensing boilers, high efficiency radiators and insulated hot water tanks were connected. In addition to this, electrical works were carried out on a graduated stage 1, 2 or 3 basis depending on the individual requirements of each property.
Although the contract was based in Finchley, North London the individual properties were spread over all of the London Boroughs and out as far as the M25.
This would have caused most companies logistical problems but Parker Bromley from the very outset put in place tested procedures that made sure efficient deployment of man power and materials were delivered.
There were over 1000 properties forming the original contract, ranging from 1 bed flats to 10 bedroom mixed occupancy detached houses. Parker Bromley completed between 15 to 25 properties a week.
By successfully delivering what was a potentially difficult contract, Parker Bromley has forged a strong partnership with Apollo Group and delighted the residents of Metropolitan Housing Trust.
